Welcome To Proud Horizons!
Proud Horizons is a youth group specifically for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual youth ages 13 to 23
If you want to talk about coming out to family, school-mates, or even coworkers, or you are trying to decide how you feel about your sexuality, this is the place for you. Perhaps you are straight, but have a gay friend you want to support. This is also the place for you. Anyone genuinely interested in attending is welcome to show up. "My first Proud Horizons I expected to be scared, I expected to be nervous, I didn't expect cake!
This isn't a therapy group; this is a youth group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and heterosexual youth. We laugh, we share and we have a great time. We deal head on with the issues we face and we support each other, whether out and loud or still in the closet. THIS IS FOR US! No conversation is too controversial. Our Meetings

Proud Horizons generally meets every Saturday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Mead Hall, First United Methodist Church, 7020 Cass St. Ages 13 to 23 are welcome. Proud Horizons will not meet May 17, 2008 (Pride Prom) or June 21, 2008 (Gay Pride Nebraska).
